The last Qore episode said Heavy Rain was set to release February 16. What they meant to say was February 23 is the official Heavy Rain release date! This morning Sony announced the real North American release date. Also remember that pre-ordering Heavy Rain will get you free launch-day access to the first downloadable Heavy Rain Chronicles episode, which won’t be available otherwise until a later date (at which point it’ll be $5). Sony also confirmed European release dates for Quantic Dream’s interactive novel thing: February 24 for mainland Europe and February 26 in the UK and Ireland.

The long awaited game Gran Turismo 5 finally gets closer to its release date with the demo coming to PSN on December 17. Gran Turismo 5 already had a game-like demo titled Gran Turismo Prologue which released in April of 2008, but this is the actual demo for Gran Turismo 5.

There’s still no set release date for Gran Turismo 5. But hopefully with the demo hitting PSN December 17, Gran Turismo 5 will release early 2010… If that is the case, you may want to learn how to get your free Gran Turismo 5 Pre-Order from Amazon.com before its too late.

If you’ve recently played Call of Duty 4: Modern Marfare you may have noticed players flying around the map appering on top of buildings outside the map, this is when the player uses a exploit to go into “UFO” mode. Well Infinity Ward has also noticed this and Infinity Ward community manager Robert “fourzerotwo” Bowling via his twitter feed: the developer is onto the recently discovered multiplayer exploits that unscrupulous players are using to cheat their way to victory.

The patch is currently ‘in the works’ so no release date for the patch has been announced.
